Caritas Finland

Caritas Finland (Suomen Caritas ry) (Visit an external site. The link opens in a new tab.) is a member of the international Caritas organization and the official aid and development cooperation organization of the Catholic Church. Caritas originated in Germany in 1897 and currently operates in 200 countries. It promotes social justice, peace, and equality. Caritas was established in Finland in 1960 and is particularly committed to supporting and integrating those in vulnerable positions.
