A plea for help

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

God willing, we will install a stairlift to improve access to Holy Cross Church next year. For many people the stairs up to the church pose a real problem, so a chairlift is very much needed to allow everybody access to the church. Accessibility is important, particularly as the church is a public place and the number of parishioners with disabilities has increased lately.

To finance this project we have started a collection. I hope that you can contribute generously, so we could raise the EUR 17,000 we need for the lift by Easter 2015. There is a collection box at the back of the church.

This gives us all a chance to help those of our brothers and sisters who use wheelchairs or who for some other reason have trouble with the stairs at Holy Cross Church.
